When overseas clients visit our kitchenware factory, it’s not just a tour — it’s a chance for them to truly understand who they are working with. Many of our visitors have been working with trading companies or sourcing online, so when they step into a real manufacturing site, they want to see the truth behind the products.
Over the years, we’ve welcomed clients from all over the world to our factory in Yangjiang, China. Whether they are buying silicone spatulas, plastic turners, or kitchen gadget sets, they usually ask similar questions during the visit. Today, we’d like to share the top 10 most common questions — and how we answer them.
1. Are you a trading company or a factory?
This is always the first question. Clients want to make sure they are dealing directly with a manufacturer. We proudly show our workshop, injection machines, packing lines, and mold storage areas — proving we are a real factory with nearly 30 years of experience.
2. Can you do OEM or customize products?
Most clients don’t want to just copy what’s already on the market. They want their own logo, color, or packaging. We explain how we can customize products using different materials (like silicone, nylon, stainless steel), offer Pantone color matching, and help design packaging — from color boxes to gift sets.
3. What’s your monthly production capacity?
Buyers want to know if we can deliver on time, especially for large orders. We usually explain our production lines, how many molds are running, and give real data — for example, we can produce 200,000+ silicone spatulas per month.
4. What materials do you use? Are they food-safe?
This is especially important for kitchenware. We show our material storage room and explain how we use LFGB- or FDA-grade silicone, BPA-free plastic, and stainless steel that meets food safety standards. We also show certificates and testing reports when needed.
5. How do you control product quality?
Clients care about defects, consistency, and safety. During the tour, we show our QC (quality control) process: from raw material inspection to in-line checking and final product tests like pull strength or heat resistance. Many are surprised by how strict we are.
6. Can I see the packaging process?
Since many of our products are sold in retail, buyers care a lot about packaging quality. We walk them through the packing area and show how we do barcode labeling, insert leaflets, or assemble sets into boxes. Some even test the packaging drop resistance!
7. Do you have experience with big brands or supermarket chains?
They want to know if we’re reliable enough. We share that we’ve worked with global names like Zwilling, Nitori, and Meyer. This gives clients confidence in our quality and service.
8. How long does it take to make a mold? What’s the cost?
If clients want to develop new products, mold making is key. We explain how long it takes (usually 20–30 days for silicone or plastic molds), the approximate cost, and how ownership works. We also show some current molds to help them understand the complexity.

9. What’s your lead time for orders?
Timely delivery is crucial. We give realistic lead times — usually 30–45 days depending on quantity and season. If clients have urgent orders, we check our schedule and see how we can support them.
10. Can I take samples back home?
Almost all clients want samples after the visit. We prepare a selection of our hot-selling items in advance and offer them either for free or at a small cost (especially if the packaging is customized). This helps them test in their market and continue the discussion after the trip.
